Beyond Sausage Hotdog


vegan rolls/buns


fresh guacamole

1 cup

sliced jalapeño


smoked paprika

1/4 tsp

cashew queso

1 cup

raw cashews (soaked hot for 15-20 minutes)

1 cup

garlic clove


nutritional yeast

2 tablespoons


1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the grill.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine cashews with enough hot water to fully submerge them. Allow cashews to soak for 15-20 minutes until they are softened.

Step 3

Once the cashews have softened, create your cashew queso by draining the cashews. Add them to a blender with garlic, smoked paprika, nutritional yeast, cumin, and salt to taste. Blend until you get a smooth consistency. Place the finished sauce into a shallow dish for dipping and drizzling.

Step 4

Place your beyond sausages on the preheated grill for about 6 minutes, rotating every few minutes.

Step 5

To assemble – place your beyond sausages in their buns, topping them off with a dollop of fresh guacamole, slices of fresh jalapeño, cashew queso, and smoked paprika to taste.
